We offer UPS, Hybrid, Grid-tied and Off-grid Solutions.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- UPS Solutions – Inverter + Battery. This solution only offers backup during loadshedding without any cost savings benefit for the user.
- Hybrid Solutions – Inverter + Battery + Solar Panels – This solution offers backup during loadshedding with cost saving benefits for the user.
- Grid-tied Solutions – Inverter + Solar Panels – This solution is perfect for businesses who manufacture goods during daylight trading hours. This option is often paired with a diesel generator for loadshedding.
- Off-grid Solutions – Inverter + Battery + Solar Panels + Generator – This solution is for users with no available grid connection. It is best paired with a generator for backup should bad weather persist for multiple days.
Solar Maintenance and Reports
We offer yearly maintenance agreements for your solar system. The agreement includes the following services:
- The cleaning of your solar panels with professional cleaning equipment.
- Inspection of the solar structure integrity for cracks, loose joints, bird nesting etc.
- Infra-red scans with a professional instrument to determine hotspots on your solar panels, wiring, distribution board and machine that can cause failure.
- Inspect and update settings/firmware of your inverter and battery if necessary.
- Rectify any loose connections on your wiring.
- A written report with all findings and suggestions to improve your systems efficiency.
Certificate of Compliance and General Electrical Work
- We can assist with issuing a Certificate of Compliance for your solar installation, main distribution board and generator connection.
- We also provide services for general electrical alterations to your home including
and not limited to house-wiring, adding or removing electrical plugs and light
switches, installing light fittings and aircons, etc. - We can rectify and update your electrical and solar installations to the newest SANS 10142-1 regulation.
SSEG Registrations
● What is an SSEG:
Small-scale embedded generation (SSEG) refers to power generation facilities, located at residential, commercial, or industrial sites, where electricity is generally also consumed from another source other than Eskom.
● Why must I apply for an SSEG:
SSEG’s is a written bylaw for the Western Cape region with local councils. Should you not register your system you may be fined or refused prepaid electricity supply/vouchers. Feel free to visit https://www.sseg.org.za/ for any info.
● What do we require to register an SSEG on your behalf:
Your latest municipality account and a copy of your ID to whom the property is registered to. Your inverter must also be on the approved list of brands in the Western Cape Province.
